For classic homes, the kitchen doors are usually made of wood or a material imitating wood. On the other way, for modern or minimalist homes (or hotels and restaurants), metal doors are just perfect. Plus they are a lot easier to clean. The only thing you should care is to make sure it fits well with your other furniture. Some kitchen doors can be used to compensate some flaws in your kitchen. For example if your kitchen is too dark, then you may want to go for glass doors that will at least make it look like there’s more light in the room (reflections). It also helps if the doors are white or beige, and it may also be a good idea to use a big mirror on one side of the kitchen door. For the same purpose. Another thing you may be concerned about is where is the handle positioned — which means you need to make sure there is enough space on the side where the door opens, so that you can open it without hitting some other furniture on the way.
